Let your heart and hands carry you. That’s what I tell myself both in and out of my Portland pottery studio where I create wheel-thrown functional objects and hand-built sculptural ceramics in stoneware. Glazed in white, black, and the grays in between, my pieces reflect my intention to get back to basics.

After 12 years working as an art director in fashion, beauty,

and editorial in New York and San Francisco, returning to clay has reconnected me with the infinite dimensions of the natural world. By returning to hand building with clay, which I first experimented with 20 years ago, and honing my skills at the wheel, I’ve found a medium to mirror the organic forms that most move me.
I hold a BFA from Kendall College of Art and Design.
